Busoid Open ID / 3rd Party Login Instructions

Unfortunately, Buxfer does not allow 3rd party and Open ID logins to access their API. To get around this, you can add Buxfer credentials to your account without creating a new account altogether.

  • Log in to Buxfer.com on your PC.
  • Click "Account Settings" (upper-right corner)
  • On the right side, click "Profile".
  • Make sure that you have a username or email address listed. If not, add one. Then put this value into Buxoid's settings.
  • On the right side, click password.
  • Enter a new password, then enter this password into Buxoid's settings.

You should still be able to log into Buxfer's website with either set of credentials. Buxoid will only work with the set that you just created.

Thanks for the App! I wish I could use it. I followed your instructions on creating a user name and password and logged in to i.buxfer.com (which also doesn't allow 3rd party logins) using them, but when I put them into Buxoid I get an Incorrect user/password error.

I have the same problem. I can't enter new password because it tells me that i didn't entered the old one. Forgot Password link doesn't send me an email.

hi,

i am writing a mobile app using buxfer and i came across your site.

is buxoid still under active development? how did you separate credit from debit transafers? both appear as "transfers" and none of the amounts are negative numbers.

i've also encountered missing transactions. did you have problems with that?

best,

mahesh
